Christmas Photos

We tried taking some photos of our own. It was pretty much a circus wrapped up in one big festive bow. Our kids are like lion cubs---wrestling and chasing like they are in training. What fun. Except when we want them to sit still and look adorable.

Editor's Note: I really wouldn't care about matching Christmas photos except I made this dress for her and am so excited that it turned out and fits and then later as I was driving past a kid's consignment store hanging in the window was no kidding! a matching boy's outfit in Isaac's size for a whopping six bucks. I cannot ignore fate.

Isaac: On the count of three...
Natalie: Ha ha ha...that'll really get 'em!

This is his "fold your arms and sit still" (or else) look.

What a sweet look on his face! And, the bow? It's gotta go.

Nice one flap in, one flap out.

Sigh. At least we have plenty of outtakes. Those are the best part anyway, right? Maybe ya'll will just get a card. I might sign it. Just kidding!!!!

Have A Happy December

This is definitely land of 4 seasons. Right now we have entered into the Currier and Ives time of year. Loooove it! And this from a girl who would be happy wearing sandals all year long. Yesterday we went tree hunting. Ooo, violent. I mean, tree...ummm...errr...uh. Yeah.
We got us tree. And it was rustic. We rode a hay ride and sipped hot cider. Gentle falling snow lit upon our shoulders as we crunched along searching out "the best one!" It was memorable and Jared was able to saw and hack and thoroughly enjoy being a man.

Here's Natalie bundled up in my ugly-25-cent-tremendously-warm-wool-coat I bought at a garage sale. Score!

Here's our best tree ever while in its natural setting.

This is our drive home out of the mountains---not a great picture AT ALL. When I pulled out the camera, Jared said, "Oh boy. That'll be a great shot." The light snow was getting heavier, but I just am in love with the layers of white.

Brrrrr!!!!
Hay rides are fun! Look at me. I'm proof!
I'm a sawer woman. How do I describe how giddy we tromped along. SO FUN!!!!!

Does this remind you of a certain boy in a certain classic Christmas movie?

Frozen tears. Poor, poor baby.

Well, there's our start of our December. Here's wishing you a A Very Happy December yourselves and please spend it doing festive, quality things and not like this:

Although it really, really made my day.
