happiness is 1,825 days
Yesterday was anniversary number 5! What anniversary is that anyway? First is paper...10th, china?...25th is silver...50th gold...I think 5th is candy. Anyway---here are a couple of photos from our wedding. The first one is just a snapshot, but I really like it. How romantic.

Yesterday we were thinking of things that would never have happened had we not gotten married. Here's an obvious one of baby-boy-to-be (it's his face profile). Jared took this shot,too! Cool, hun?
The second one is requires a little more. I'll give you a hint about the symbols:
1-up = extra life
*/popcorn looking thing = flower
20 = twenty coins
10 = ten coins
m = mushroom
star = star
Here's one more hint: "card house."
Well, for something a little more meaningful. My aunt told us after three weeks of marriage if we thought we were happy then, just wait. It’d keep getting better and better. She was right!
Last week I made him a big batch of cinnamon rolls, just because they are his favorite and I wanted to do something for him. Just as I was frosting the rolls, he walks through the door carrying a spring flower bouquet---just because he wanted to do something for me. Love does grow from little things.
So, we spent or fifth like the wild things we are---at home! With our sick child and couldn't have asked for anything more. We made dinner together, played some games, watched a movie, talked, did some other things married people do...like fold laundry. Ha ha just kidding. We didn't fold any laundry. Just spent time with each other which is better than any exotic vacation these days!
