I heart flower gardens

These are all dahlias. The variations in size and color and petals make me dream of being a flower designer. I wonder if the number of horticulture majors would sky rocket if you labeled it "designing" instead of propagation or genetics. I'd love to be a plant designer. Sigh.

Which one was your favorite? The last photo of the little white ones were Isaac's favorite. He kept trying to eat them much to the amusement of an elderly couple visiting the garden at the same times as us.
There are some spectacular flower gardens we frequent which all of the dahlias are a part of. Here's an overview of another area.

Natalie is in love with grass. A freshly mowed field turns her into a wild thing. Without fail, we visit somewhere with grass and she tries to bring home a pile. Uhhh, no. Sorry, no grass piles in the car, sweety.

My sweet boy I love so much mesmerized by his hand, or a leaf, or maybe a pebble.

Whoops! Poor Isaac's head got cut off. Do you think he was a) screaming, b) laughing, or c) completely oblivious?

And the usual reaction when I pull out the camera:

Jessica, your photography is amazing! You could start a revolution with "plant designer".
